레위기 27장

여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대

풀이: 신이 모세에게 일렀다.

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

이스라엘 자손에게 고하여 이르라 사람을 여호와께 드리기로 서원하였으면 너는 그 값을 정할찌니

풀이: 이스라엘 백성에게 전하여라. 누군가 특별한 맹세를 세워 사람을 신에게 바치기로 했거든, 너는 그 사람의 값을 정하여라.

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for the Lord by thy estimation.

너의 정한 값은 이십세로 육십세까지는 남자이면 성소의 세겔대로 은 오십 세겔로 하고

풀이: 네가 매길 값은 이렇다. 20세부터 60세까지의 남자라면, 성소의 표준 저울로 은 50세겔이다.

And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.

여자이면 그 값을 삼십 세겔로 하며

풀이: 여자라면 그 값을 30세겔로 한다.

And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.

오세로 이십세까지는 남자이면 그 값을 이십 세겔로 하고 여자이면 십 세겔로 하며

풀이: 5세부터 20세까지는, 남자라면 20세겔, 여자라면 10세겔로 한다.

And if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

일개월로 오세까지는 남자이면 그 값을 은 오 세겔로 하고 여자이면 그 값을 은 삼 세겔로 하며

풀이: 생후 1개월부터 5세까지는, 남자라면 은 5세겔, 여자라면 은 3세겔로 한다.

And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver.

육십세 이상은 남자이면 그 값을 십 오 세겔로 하고 여자는 십 세겔로 하라

풀이: 60세가 넘으면, 남자라면 15세겔, 여자라면 10세겔로 한다.

And if it be from sixty years old and above; if it be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

그러나 서원자가 가난하여 너의 정가를 감당치 못하겠으면 그를 제사장의 앞으로 데리고 갈 것이요 제사장은 그 값을 정하되 그 서원자의 형세대로 값을 정할찌니라

풀이: 그러나 맹세한 사람이 가난하여 네가 매긴 값을 감당하지 못하거든, 그를 제사장 앞으로 데려가라. 제사장이 그 형편에 맞추어 값을 다시 정해 줄 것이다.

But if he be poorer than thy estimation, then he shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to his ability that vowed shall the priest value him.

사람이 예물로 여호와께 드리는 것이 생축이면 서원물로 여호와께 드릴 때는 다 거룩하니

풀이: 바치기로 한 것이 신에게 예물로 드릴 수 있는 짐승이라면, 그렇게 신께 바친 것은 모두 거룩하다.

And if it be a beast, whereof men bring an offering unto the Lord, all that any man giveth of such unto the Lord shall be holy.

그것을 변개하여 우열간 바꾸지 못할 것이요 혹 생축으로 생축을 바꾸면 둘 다 거룩할 것이며

풀이: 그것을 다른 것으로 갈지 말고 바꾸지도 마라. 좋은 것을 나쁜 것으로든, 나쁜 것을 좋은 것으로든. 만일 굳이 짐승을 짐승으로 바꾼다면, 처음 것도 바꾼 것도 둘 다 거룩해진다.

He shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change beast for beast, then it and the exchange thereof shall be holy.

부정하여 여호와께 예물로 드리지 못할 생축이면 그 생축을 제사장 앞으로 끌어 갈 것이요

풀이: 바치려는 것이 부정하여 신께 예물로 드릴 수 없는 짐승이라면, 그 짐승을 제사장 앞으로 끌고 가라.

And if it be any unclean beast, of which they do not offer a sacrifice unto the Lord, then he shall present the beast before the priest:

제사장은 그 우열간에 정가할찌니 그 값이 제사장의 정한대로 될 것이며

풀이: 제사장이 그 좋고 나쁨을 따져 값을 매긴다. 제사장이 정한 그대로가 값이 된다.

And the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou valuest it, who art the priest, so shall it be.

그가 그것을 무르려면 정가에 그 오분 일을 더할찌니라

풀이: 만일 바친 사람이 그것을 도로 무르려거든, 매겨진 값에 그 5분의 1을 더 얹어야 한다.

But if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth part thereof unto thy estimation.

사람이 자기 집을 구별하여 여호와께 드리려면 제사장이 그 우열간에 정가할찌니 그 값이 제사장의 정한대로 될 것이며

풀이: 누군가 자기 집을 거룩하게 구별하여 신께 바치려거든, 제사장이 그 좋고 나쁨을 따져 값을 매긴다. 제사장이 정한 그대로가 값이 된다.

And when a man shall sanctify his house to be holy unto the Lord, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand.

그 사람이 자기 집을 무르려면 정가한 돈에 그 오분 일을 더할찌니 그리하면 자기 소유가 되리라

풀이: 집을 바친 사람이 그것을 도로 무르려거든, 매겨진 값에 그 5분의 1을 더 얹어야 한다. 그러면 다시 자기 것이 된다.

And if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be his.

사람이 자기 기업된 밭 얼마를 구별하여 여호와께 드리려면 두락수대로 정가하되 보리 한 호멜지기에는 은 오십 세겔로 계산할찌며

풀이: 누군가 물려받은 자기 땅의 일부를 거룩하게 구별하여 신께 바치려거든, 거기에 뿌릴 씨앗의 양으로 값을 매긴다. 보리 1호멜을 뿌릴 만한 넓이는 은 50세겔로 친다.

And if a man shall sanctify unto the Lord some part of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.

그가 그 밭을 희년부터 구별하여 드렸으면 그 값을 네가 정한 대로 할 것이요

풀이: 그가 희년이 시작되는 해부터 그 밭을 바쳤다면, 네가 매긴 값 그대로 한다.

If he sanctify his field from the year of jubile, according to thy estimation it shall stand.

그 밭을 희년 후에 구별하여 드렸으면 제사장이 다음 희년까지 남은 년수를 따라 그 값을 계산하고 정가에서 그 값에 상당하게 감할 것이며

풀이: 희년이 지난 뒤에 밭을 바쳤다면, 제사장이 다음 희년까지 남은 햇수를 헤아려 값을 깎아 매긴다.

But if he sanctify his field after the jubile, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain, even unto the year of the jubile, and it shall be abated from thy estimation.

밭을 구별하여 드린 자가 그것을 무르려면 정가한 돈에 그 오분 일을 더할찌니 그리하면 그것이 자기 소유가 될 것이요

풀이: 밭을 바친 사람이 그것을 도로 무르려거든, 매겨진 값에 그 5분의 1을 더 얹어야 한다. 그러면 그 밭은 다시 자기 것이 된다.

And if he that sanctified the field will in any wise redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him.

그가 그 밭을 무르지 아니하려거나 타인에게 팔았으면 다시는 무르지 못하고

풀이: 그러나 그가 밭을 무르지 않거나 이미 다른 사람에게 팔아 버렸다면, 다시는 무를 수 없다.

And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more.

희년이 되어서 그 밭이 돌아오게 될 때에는 여호와께 바친 성물이 되어 영영히 드린 땅과 같이 제사장의 기업이 될 것이며

풀이: 그 밭은 희년이 되어 풀려날 때, 신께 영영히 바쳐진 땅처럼 거룩한 것이 되어 제사장의 몫으로 넘어간다.

But the field, when it goeth out in the jubile, shall be holy unto the Lord, as a field devoted; the possession thereof shall be the priest’s.

사람에게 샀고 자기 기업이 아닌 밭을 여호와께 구별하여 드렸으면

풀이: 남에게 사들인 땅, 곧 본래 물려받은 자기 땅이 아닌 밭을 신께 거룩하게 구별하여 바쳤다면,

And if a man sanctify unto the Lord a field which he hath bought, which is not of the fields of his possession;

너는 정가하고 제사장은 그를 위하여 희년까지 계산하고 그는 너의 정가한 돈을 그 날에 여호와께 드려 성물을 삼을찌며

풀이: 제사장이 다음 희년까지 헤아려 값을 매긴다. 그는 그날로 그 값을 신께 바쳐, 거룩한 것으로 삼아야 한다.

Then the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, even unto the year of the jubile: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, as a holy thing unto the Lord.

그 밭은 희년에 판 사람 곧 그 기업의 본주에게로 돌아 갈찌니라

풀이: 그리고 그 밭은 희년이 되면 판 사람에게로, 곧 본래 그 땅을 물려받은 임자에게로 되돌아간다.

In the year of the jubile the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land did belong.

너의 모든 정가를 성소의 세겔대로 하되 이십 게라를 한 세겔로 할찌니라

풀이: 네가 매기는 모든 값은 성소의 표준 저울을 따른다. 1세겔은 20게라다.

And all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.

오직 생축의 첫새끼는 여호와께 돌릴 첫새끼라 우 양을 물론하고 여호와의 것이니 누구든지 그것으로는 구별하여 드리지 못할 것이며

풀이: 다만 짐승의 첫새끼는 누구도 바칠 수 없다. 첫새끼는 이미 신의 것으로 정해진 몫이기 때문이다. 소든 양이든, 그것은 신의 것이다.

Only the firstling of the beasts, which should be the Lord’s firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether it be ox, or sheep: it is the Lord’s.

부정한 짐승이면 너의 정가에 그 오분 일을 더하여 속할 것이요 만일 속하지 아니하거든 너의 정가대로 팔찌니라

풀이: 그것이 부정한 짐승의 첫새끼라면, 매겨진 값에 그 5분의 1을 얹어 무를 수 있다. 무르지 않으면 매겨진 값대로 팔아야 한다.

And if it be of an unclean beast, then he shall redeem it according to thine estimation, and shall add a fifth part of it thereto: or if it be not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to thy estimation.

오직 여호와께 아주 바친 그 물건은 사람이든지 생축이든지 기업의 밭이든지 팔지도 못하고 속하지도 못하나니 바친 것은 다 여호와께 지극히 거룩함이며

풀이: 그러나 사람이 가진 것 가운데 신께 아주 바친 것은 — 사람이든 짐승이든 물려받은 밭이든 — 팔 수도 무를 수도 없다. 아주 바친 것은 무엇이든 신께 더없이 거룩하기 때문이다.

Notwithstanding no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto the Lord of all that he hath, both of man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto the Lord.

아주 바친 그 사람은 다시 속하지 못하나니 반드시 죽일찌니라

풀이: 아주 바쳐진 사람은 다시 무를 수 없다. 그는 반드시 죽여야 한다.

None devoted, which shall be devoted of men, shall be redeemed; but shall surely be put to death.

땅의 십분 일 곧 땅의 곡식이나 나무의 과실이나 그 십분 일은 여호와의 것이니 여호와께 성물이라

풀이: 땅에서 난 것의 10분의 1 — 곡식이든 나무 열매든 — 그 10분의 1은 신의 것이며, 신께 바쳐진 거룩한 것이다.

And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord’s: it is holy unto the Lord.

사람이 그 십분 일을 속하려면 그것에 그 오분 일을 더할 것이요

풀이: 누군가 그 10분의 1을 도로 무르려거든, 거기에 그 5분의 1을 더 얹어야 한다.

And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof.

소나 양의 십분 일은 막대기 아래로 통과하는 것의 열째마다 여호와의 거룩한 것이 되리니

풀이: 소 떼와 양 떼의 10분의 1은, 목자의 막대기 아래로 지나가는 것 가운데 열째마다 신께 바쳐진 거룩한 것이 된다.

And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the Lord.

그 우열을 교계하거나 바꾸거나 하지 말라 바꾸면 둘 다 거룩하리니 속하지 못하리라

풀이: 그 좋고 나쁨을 가리지 말고 바꾸지도 마라. 만일 굳이 바꾼다면, 처음 것도 바꾼 것도 둘 다 거룩해져 무를 수 없게 된다.

He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he change it at all, then both it and the change thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.

이상은 여호와께서 시내산에서 이스라엘 자손을 위하여 모세에게 명하신 계명이니라

풀이: 이상은 신이 시내산에서 이스라엘 백성을 위하여 모세에게 명한 계명이다.

These are the commandments, which the Lord commanded Moses for the children of Israel in mount Sinai.
