에스겔 25장

여호와의 말씀이 또 내게 임하여 가라사대

풀이: 신의 말씀이 다시 내게 임했다.

The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,

인자야 암몬 족속을 향하여 그들을 쳐서 예언하라 너는 암몬 족속에게 이르기를 너희는 주 여호와의 말씀을 들을찌어다 주 여호와의 말씀에 내 성소를 더럽힐 때에 네가 그것을 대하여, 이스라엘 땅이 황무할 때에 네가 그것을 대하여, 유다 족속이 사로잡힐 때에 네가 그들을 대하여 이르기를 아하 좋다 하였도다

풀이: 사람아, 암몬 족속을 똑바로 마주하고 그들을 향해 예언하라.

Son of man, set thy face against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them;

풀이: 암몬 족속에게 이렇게 전하라. 주인 되신 신의 말씀을 들어라. 주인 되신 신이 이렇게 말한다. 내 성소가 더럽혀질 때 너는 "아하, 좋다" 하고 비웃었고, 이스라엘 땅이 폐허가 될 때, 또 유다 족속이 포로로 끌려갈 때에도 너는 그렇게 고소해했다.

And say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord God; Thus saith the Lord God; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;

그러므로 내가 너를 동방 사람에게 기업으로 붙이리니 그들이 네 가운데 진을 치며 네 가운데 그 거처를 베풀며 네 실과를 먹으며 네 젖을 마실찌라

풀이: 그러므로 보아라, 내가 너를 동방에서 온 사람들에게 넘겨 그들의 차지가 되게 하겠다. 그들이 네 땅에 진을 치고 거처를 세울 것이며, 네 열매를 따 먹고 네 젖을 짜 마실 것이다.

Behold, therefore I will deliver thee to the men of the east for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.

내가 랍바로 약대의 우리를 만들며 암몬 족속의 땅으로 양무리의 눕는 곳을 삼은즉 너희가 나를 여호와인줄 알리라

풀이: 내가 랍바를 낙타 우리로 만들고, 암몬 족속의 온 땅을 양 떼가 드러눕는 자리로 삼겠다. 그제야 너희는 내가 신임을 알게 되리라.

And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the Ammonites a couchingplace for flocks: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

나 주 여호와가 말하노라 네가 이스라엘 땅을 대하여 손뼉을 치며 발을 구르며 마음을 다하여 멸시하며 즐거워하였나니

풀이: 주인 되신 신이 이렇게 말한다. 너는 이스라엘 땅을 두고 손뼉을 치고 발을 구르며, 속에서 우러나는 멸시로 마음껏 고소해했다.

For thus saith the Lord God; Because thou hast clapped thine hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of Israel;

그런즉 내가 손을 네 위에 펴서 너를 다른 민족에게 붙여 노략을 당하게 하며 너를 만민 중에 끊어 버리며 너를 열국 중에서 패망케 하여 멸하리니 네가 나를 여호와인줄 알리라 하셨다 하라

풀이: 그러므로 보아라, 내가 너를 향해 손을 뻗어 뭇 민족의 약탈거리로 넘기겠다. 너를 뭇 백성 가운데서 잘라 내고, 여러 나라 가운데서 끊어 멸하겠다. 그제야 너는 내가 신임을 알게 되리라.

Behold, therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the heathen; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.

나 주 여호와가 말하노라 모압과 세일이 이르기를 유다 족속은 모든 이방과 일반이라 하도다

풀이: 주인 되신 신이 이렇게 말한다. 모압과 세일이 "보아라, 유다 족속도 다른 뭇 민족과 다를 게 없다" 하고 비웃었다.

Thus saith the Lord God; Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the heathen;

그러므로 내가 모압의 한편 곧 그 나라 변경에 있는 영화로운 성읍들 벧여시못과 바알므온과 기랴다임을 열고

풀이: 그러므로 보아라, 내가 모압의 옆구리를 열어젖히겠다. 그 변경에 늘어선 영화로운 성읍들 — 벧여시못과 바알므온과 기랴다임을 활짝 열어,

Therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth–jeshimoth, Baal–meon, and Kiriathaim,

암몬 족속 일반으로 동방 사람에게 붙여 기업을 삼게 할것이라 암몬 족속으로 다시는 이방 가운데서 기억되지 아니하게 하려니와

풀이: 암몬 족속과 함께 동방에서 온 사람들에게 넘겨 그들의 차지가 되게 하겠다. 그리하여 암몬 족속이 다시는 뭇 민족 사이에서 기억되지 못하게 하겠다.

Unto the men of the east with the Ammonites, and will give them in possession, that the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations.

내가 모압에 벌을 내리리니 그들이 나를 여호와인줄 알리라

풀이: 이렇게 내가 모압에 심판을 집행하면, 그들은 내가 신임을 알게 되리라.

And I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the Lord.

나 주 여호와가 말하노라 에돔이 유다 족속을 쳐서 원수를 갚았고 원수를 갚음으로 심히 범죄하였도다

풀이: 주인 되신 신이 이렇게 말한다. 에돔이 유다 족속에게 앙갚음으로 보복했고, 그렇게 원수를 갚음으로써 무거운 죄를 지었다.

Thus saith the Lord God; Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them;

그러므로 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 내가 내 손을 에돔 위에 펴서 사람과 짐승을 그 가운데서 끊어 데만에서부터 황무하게 하리니 드단까지 칼에 엎드러지리라

풀이: 그러므로 주인 되신 신이 이렇게 말한다. 내가 에돔을 향해 손을 뻗어 그 안에서 사람도 짐승도 잘라 내겠다. 데만에서부터 황무지로 만들 것이며, 드단에 이르기까지 칼에 쓰러지게 하겠다.

Therefore thus saith the Lord God; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.

내가 내 백성 이스라엘의 손을 빙자하여 내 원수를 에돔에게 갚으리니 그들이 내 노와 분을 따라 에돔에 행한즉 내가 원수를 갚음인줄을 에돔이 알리라 나 주 여호와의 말이니라

풀이: 내 백성 이스라엘의 손을 빌려 에돔에게 내 원수를 갚겠다. 그들이 내 노여움과 분노 그대로 에돔에게 행할 것이다. 그제야 에돔은 그것이 나의 보복임을 알게 되리라. 주인 되신 신의 말이다.

And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord God.

나 주 여호와가 말하노라 블레셋 사람이 옛날부터 미워하여 멸시하는 마음으로 원수를 갚아 진멸코자 하였도다

풀이: 주인 되신 신이 이렇게 말한다. 블레셋 사람들이 보복으로 앙갚음했고, 오랜 원한에서 비롯된 멸시의 마음으로 끝까지 멸하려 들었다.

Thus saith the Lord God; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred;

그러므로 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 내가 블레셋 사람 위에 손을 펴서 그렛 사람을 끊으며 해변에 남은 자를 진멸하되

풀이: 그러므로 주인 되신 신이 이렇게 말한다. 보아라, 내가 블레셋 사람들을 향해 손을 뻗어 그렛 사람들을 잘라 내고, 바닷가에 남은 자들까지 멸하겠다.

Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.

분노의 책벌로 내 원수를 그들에게 크게 갚으리라 내가 그들에게 원수를 갚은즉 그들이 나를 여호와인줄 알리라 하시니라

풀이: 분노에 찬 징벌로 그들에게 크게 보복하겠다. 그렇게 내가 원수를 갚을 때, 그들은 내가 신임을 알게 되리라.

And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.
