여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대

풀이: 신이 모세에게 일렀다.

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

누구든지 여호와께 신실치 못하여 범죄하되 곧 남의 물건을 맡거나 전당 잡거나 강도질 하거나 늑봉하고도 사실을 부인하거나

풀이: 누구든 신을 저버리고 죄를 범하는 경우가 있다. 이웃이 맡긴 물건이나 담보로 잡은 것을 두고 발뺌하거나, 강제로 빼앗거나 착취해 놓고도 시치미를 떼는 일이다.

If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the Lord, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour;

남의 잃은 물건을 얻고도 사실을 부인하여 거짓 맹세하는 등 사람이 이 모든 일 중에 하나라도 행하여 범죄하면

풀이: 남이 잃어버린 물건을 주워 놓고도 아니라고 잡아떼며 거짓 맹세까지 하는 일 — 사람이 이런 일 가운데 하나라도 저질러 죄를 범했다면,

Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein:

이는 죄를 범하였고 죄가 있는 자니 그 빼앗은 것이나 늑봉한 것이나 맡은 것이나 얻은 유실물이나

풀이: 그는 죄를 지어 죄책을 진 자다. 그러니 강제로 빼앗은 것이든, 속여서 가로챈 것이든, 맡아 둔 것이든, 주운 분실물이든,

Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found,

무릇 그 거짓 맹세한 물건을 돌려 보내되 곧 그 본물에 오분 일을 더하여 돌려 보낼 것이니 그 죄가 드러나는 날에 그 임자에게 줄 것이요

풀이: 거짓 맹세로 부인했던 그 물건을 모두 되돌려 주어야 한다. 원래 값에 5분의 1을 더 얹어, 죄책이 드러나는 그날에 임자에게 돌려주어라.

Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering.

그는 또 그 속건제를 여호와께 가져 올찌니 곧 너의 지정한 가치대로 떼 중 흠 없는 수양을 속건 제물을 위하여 제사장에게로 끌어 올 것이요

풀이: 그러고는 속건제물을 신에게 가져온다. 정해진 값어치에 맞는, 떼에서 고른 흠 없는 숫양을 속건제물로 삼아 제사장에게 끌어 온다.

And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the Lord, a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest:

제사장은 여호와 앞에서 그를 위하여 속죄한즉 그는 무슨 허물이든지 사함을 얻으리라

풀이: 제사장이 신 앞에서 그를 위해 속죄하면, 그가 저지른 그 어떤 일이든 용서받는다.

And the priest shall make an atonement for him before the Lord: and it shall be forgiven him for any thing of all that he hath done in trespassing therein.

여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대

풀이: 신이 모세에게 일렀다.

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

아론과 그 자손에게 명하여 이르라 번제의 규례는 이러하니라 번제물은 단윗 석쇠 위에 아침까지 두고 단의 불로 그 위에서 꺼지지않게 할 것이요

풀이: 아론과 그 아들들에게 명하여 일러라. 번제의 규례는 이러하다. 번제물은 제단 위 화로에 밤새도록 아침까지 얹어 두고, 제단의 불이 그 위에서 꺼지지 않게 한다.

Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.

제사장은 세마포 긴 옷을 입고 세마포 고의로 하체를 가리우고 단 위에서 탄 번제의 재를 가져다가 단 곁에 두고

풀이: 제사장은 고운 삼베 옷을 입고 삼베 속바지로 몸을 가린 뒤, 제단 위에서 번제를 다 태우고 남은 재를 거두어 제단 곁에 둔다.

And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.

그 옷을 벗고 다른 옷을 입고 그 재를 진 바깥 정결한 곳으로 가져 갈 것이요

풀이: 그런 다음 그 옷을 벗고 다른 옷으로 갈아입고서, 그 재를 진영 밖 정결한 곳으로 가져간다.

And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean place.

단 위에 불은 항상 피워 꺼지지 않게 할찌니 제사장은 아침마다 나무를 그 위에 태우고 번제물을 그 위에 벌여 놓고 화목제의 기름을 그 위에 사를찌며

풀이: 제단의 불은 늘 피워 꺼지지 않게 해야 한다. 제사장은 아침마다 그 위에 장작을 지피고, 번제물을 가지런히 얹고, 화목제물의 기름을 그 위에서 사른다.

And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.

불은 끊이지 않고 단 위에 피워 꺼지지 않게 할찌니라

풀이: 불은 끊이지 않고 제단 위에 피워, 결코 꺼지지 않게 해야 한다.

The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

소제의 규례는 이러하니라 아론의 자손은 그것을 단 앞 여호와 앞에 드리되

풀이: 소제의 규례는 이러하다. 아론의 아들들이 그것을 제단 앞, 신 앞에 바친다.

And this is the law of the meat offering: the sons of Aaron shall offer it before the Lord, before the altar.

그 소제의 고운 기름 가루 한 움큼과 소제물 위의 유향을 다 취하여 기념물로 단 위에 불살라 여호와 앞에 향기로운 냄새가 되게 하고

풀이: 소제물의 고운 가루와 기름 한 움큼, 그리고 소제물 위에 얹은 유향을 모두 거두어, 기념의 몫으로 제단에서 사른다. 신 앞에 올라가는 향기로운 냄새다.

And he shall take of it his handful, of the flour of the meat offering, and of the oil thereof, and all the frankincense which is upon the meat offering, and shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour, even the memorial of it, unto the Lord.

그 나머지는 아론과 그 자손이 먹되 누룩을 넣지 말고 거룩한 곳 회막 뜰에서 먹을찌니라

풀이: 그 나머지는 아론과 그 아들들이 먹되, 누룩을 넣지 않고, 거룩한 곳 회막 뜰에서 먹어야 한다.

And the remainder thereof shall Aaron and his sons eat: with unleavened bread shall it be eaten in the holy place; in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation they shall eat it.

그것에 누룩을 넣어 굽지 말라 이는 나의 화제 중에서 내가 그들에게 주어 그 소득이 되게 하는 것이라 속죄제와 속건제 같이 지극히 거룩한즉

풀이: 그것을 누룩 넣어 굽지 마라. 이는 내가 불로 바치는 제물 가운데 그들의 몫으로 떼어 준 것이다. 속죄제물이나 속건제물처럼 더없이 거룩하다.

It shall not be baken with leaven. I have given it unto them for their portion of my offerings made by fire; it is most holy, as is the sin offering, and as the trespass offering.

무릇 아론 자손의 남자는 이를 먹을찌니 이는 여호와의 화제 중에서 그들의 대대로 영원한 소득이 됨이라 이를 만지는 자마다 거룩하리라

풀이: 아론의 자손 가운데 남자는 모두 이를 먹을 수 있다. 신에게 불로 바치는 제물에서 떼어 주는, 대대로 이어질 영원한 몫이다. 이것에 닿는 자는 누구든 거룩해진다.

All the males among the children of Aaron shall eat of it. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations concerning the offerings of the Lord made by fire: every one that toucheth them shall be holy.

여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대

풀이: 신이 모세에게 일렀다.

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

아론과 그 자손이 기름 부음을 받는 날에 여호와께 드릴 예물은 이러하니라 고운 가루 에바 십분 일을 항상 드리는 소제물로 삼아 그 절반은 아침에, 절반은 저녁에 드리되

풀이: 아론과 그 아들들이 기름 부음을 받는 날에 신에게 바칠 예물은 이러하다. 고운 가루 1에바의 10분의 1을 늘 드리는 소제물로 삼되, 절반은 아침에, 절반은 저녁에 바친다.

This is the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer unto the Lord in the day when he is anointed; the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a meat offering perpetual, half of it in the morning, and half thereof at night.

그것을 기름으로 반죽하여 번철에 굽고 기름에 적시어다가 썰어서 소제로 여호와께 드려 향기로운 냄새가 되게 하라

풀이: 그것을 기름으로 반죽하여 번철에 굽고, 기름에 적셔 잘게 썰어 소제로 신에게 바친다. 향기로운 냄새가 되게 하라.

In a pan it shall be made with oil; and when it is baken, thou shalt bring it in: and the baken pieces of the meat offering shalt thou offer for a sweet savour unto the Lord.

이 소제는 아론의 자손 중 기름 부음을 받고 그를 이어 제사장 된 자가 드릴 것이요 영원한 규례로 여호와께 온전히 불사를 것이니

풀이: 이 소제는 아론의 자손 가운데 기름 부음을 받아 그를 이어 제사장이 된 자가 바친다. 영원한 규례로, 신에게 통째로 사른다.

And the priest of his sons that is anointed in his stead shall offer it: it is a statute for ever unto the Lord; it shall be wholly burnt.

무릇 제사장의 소제물은 온전히 불사르고 먹지 말찌니라

풀이: 제사장이 바치는 소제물은 모두 통째로 사르고, 먹어서는 안 된다.

For every meat offering for the priest shall be wholly burnt: it shall not be eaten.

여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대

풀이: 신이 모세에게 일렀다.

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

아론과 그 아들들에게 고하여 이르라 속죄제의 규례는 이러하니라 속죄제 희생은 지극히 거룩하니 여호와 앞 번제 희생을 잡는 곳에서 그 속죄제 희생을 잡을 것이요

풀이: 아론과 그 아들들에게 일러라. 속죄제의 규례는 이러하다. 속죄제물은 더없이 거룩하다. 번제물을 잡는 바로 그 자리, 신 앞에서 속죄제물을 잡아라.

Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed before the Lord: it is most holy.

죄를 위하여 제사드리는 제사장이 그것을 먹되 곧 회막 뜰 거룩한 곳에서 먹을 것이며

풀이: 그 제물로 속죄하는 제사장이 그것을 먹되, 거룩한 곳 회막 뜰에서 먹어야 한다.

The priest that offereth it for sin shall eat it: in the holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation.

무릇 그 고기에 접촉하는 자는 거룩할 것이며 그 피가 어떤 옷에든지 묻었으면 묻은 그것을 거룩한 곳에서 빨 것이요

풀이: 그 고기에 닿는 것은 무엇이든 거룩해진다. 그 피가 어떤 옷에든 튀었으면, 묻은 그 옷을 거룩한 곳에서 빨아야 한다.

Whatsoever shall touch the flesh thereof shall be holy: and when there is sprinkled of the blood thereof upon any garment, thou shalt wash that whereon it was sprinkled in the holy place.

그 고기를 토기에 삶았으면 그 그릇을 깨뜨릴 것이요 유기에 삶았으면 그 그릇을 닦고 물에 씻을 것이며

풀이: 그 고기를 토기에 삶았으면 그 그릇을 깨뜨리고, 놋그릇에 삶았으면 그 그릇을 닦고 물로 씻어야 한다.

But the earthen vessel wherein it is sodden shall be broken: and if it be sodden in a brasen pot, it shall be both scoured, and rinsed in water.

그 고기는 지극히 거룩하니 제사장의 남자마다 먹을 것이니라

풀이: 그 고기는 더없이 거룩하니, 제사장 가운데 남자는 모두 먹을 수 있다.

All the males among the priests shall eat thereof: it is most holy.

그러나 피를 가지고 회막에 들어가 성소에서 속하게 한 속죄제 희생의 고기는 먹지 못할찌니 불사를찌니라

풀이: 그러나 피를 회막 안으로 들여 성소에서 속죄에 쓴 속죄제물의 고기는 먹어서는 안 된다. 불에 살라야 한다.

And no sin offering, whereof any of the blood is brought into the tabernacle of the congregation to reconcile withal in the holy place, shall be eaten: it shall be burnt in the fire.
