레위기 1장

여호와께서 회막에서 모세를 부르시고 그에게 일러 가라사대

풀이: 신이 회막에서 모세를 불렀다. 그 장막 안에서 그에게 일렀다.

And the Lord called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,

이스라엘 자손에게 고하여 이르라 너희 중에 누구든지 여호와께 예물을 드리려거든 생축 중에서 소나 양으로 예물을 드릴찌니라

풀이: 이스라엘 백성에게 전하여라. 너희 가운데 누구든 신에게 예물을 바치려거든, 기르는 짐승 가운데 소 떼나 양 떼에서 골라 바쳐라.

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the Lord, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock.

그 예물이 소의 번제이면 흠 없는 수컷으로 회막 문에서 여호와 앞에 열납하시도록 드릴찌니라

풀이: 그 예물이 소로 드리는 번제라면, 흠 없는 수컷이어야 한다. 회막 문 앞에서, 신이 기꺼이 받아 주시도록 바쳐라.

If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord.

그가 번제물의 머리에 안수할찌니 그리하면 열납되어 그를 위하여 속죄가 될 것이라

풀이: 번제로 바칠 짐승의 머리에 손을 얹어라. 그러면 그 제물이 그를 대신해 받아들여져, 그를 위한 속죄가 된다.

And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.

그는 여호와 앞에서 그 수송아지를 잡을 것이요 아론의 자손 제사장들은 그 피를 가져다가 회막 문앞 단 사면에 뿌릴 것이며

풀이: 그런 다음 신 앞에서 그 수송아지를 잡는다. 아론의 자손인 제사장들은 그 피를 받아다가 회막 문 앞 제단 사방에 뿌린다.

And he shall kill the bullock before the Lord: and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

그는 또 그 번제 희생의 가죽을 벗기고 각을 뜰 것이요

풀이: 이어서 번제물의 가죽을 벗기고, 몸을 토막으로 자른다.

And he shall flay the burnt offering, and cut it into his pieces.

제사장 아론의 자손들은 단 위에 불을 두고 불 위에 나무를 벌여 놓고

풀이: 제사장인 아론의 자손들은 제단에 불을 피우고, 그 불 위에 장작을 가지런히 벌여 놓는다.

And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire:

아론의 자손 제사장들은 그 뜬 각과 머리와 기름을 단 윗 불 위에 있는 나무에 벌여 놓을것이며

풀이: 그러고는 잘라 놓은 토막과 머리와 기름을, 제단 불 위에 쌓은 장작 위에 차려 놓는다.

And the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar:

그 내장과 정갱이를 물로 씻을 것이요 제사장은 그 전부를 단 위에 불살라 번제를 삼을찌니 이는 화제라 여호와께 향기로운 냄새니라

풀이: 내장과 다리는 물로 씻는다. 제사장은 그 전부를 제단에서 불살라 번제로 드린다. 이는 불에 살라 바치는 제사요, 신께 올라가는 향기로운 냄새다.

But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord.

만일 그 예물이 떼의 양이나 염소의 번제이면 흠 없는 수컷으로 드릴찌니

풀이: 만일 예물이 양 떼나 염소 떼에서 고른 번제라면, 이번에도 흠 없는 수컷으로 바쳐라.

And if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without blemish.

그가 단 북편에서 여호와 앞에서 잡을 것이요 아론의 자손 제사장들은 그 피를 단 사면에 뿌릴 것이며

풀이: 제단 북쪽, 신 앞에서 그것을 잡는다. 아론의 자손 제사장들은 그 피를 제단 사방에 뿌린다.

And he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before the Lord: and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall sprinkle his blood round about upon the altar.

그는 그것의 각을 뜨고 그 머리와 그 기름을 베어 낼 것이요 제사장은 그것을 다 단 윗 불 위에 있는 나무에 벌여 놓을 것이며

풀이: 그것을 토막 내고 머리와 기름을 떼어 내면, 제사장은 그 전부를 제단 불 위의 장작에 차려 놓는다.

And he shall cut it into his pieces, with his head and his fat: and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar:

그 내장과 정갱이를 물로 씻을 것이요 제사장은 그 전부를 가져다가 단 위에 불살라 번제를 삼을찌니 이는 화제라 여호와께 향기로운 냄새니라

But he shall wash the inwards and the legs with water: and the priest shall bring it all, and burn it upon the altar: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord.

만일 여호와께 드리는 예물이 새의 번제이면 산비둘기나 집비둘기 새끼로 예물을 삼을 것이요

풀이: 만일 신에게 바치는 번제가 새라면, 산비둘기나 집비둘기 새끼로 바쳐라.

And if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the Lord be of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons.

제사장은 그것을 단으로 가져다가 그 머리를 비틀어 끊고 단 위에 불사르고 피는 단 곁에 흘릴 것이며

풀이: 제사장은 그것을 제단으로 가져가, 머리를 비틀어 끊고 제단에서 사른다. 피는 제단 옆벽에 흘려 짜낸다.

And the priest shall bring it unto the altar, and wring off his head, and burn it on the altar; and the blood thereof shall be wrung out at the side of the altar:

멱통과 그 더러운 것은 제하여 단 동편 재 버리는 곳에 던지고

풀이: 모이주머니와 그 안의 더러운 것은 떼어 내어, 제단 동쪽 재 버리는 곳에 던진다.

And he shall pluck away his crop with his feathers, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, by the place of the ashes:

또 그 날개 자리에서 그 몸을 찢되 아주 찢지 말고 제사장이 그것을 단 윗 불 위의 나무 위에 살라 번제를 삼을찌니 이는 화제라 여호와께 향기로운 냄새니라

풀이: 날개를 잡아 몸을 찢되, 완전히 둘로 가르지는 않는다. 제사장은 그것을 제단 불 위 장작에서 사른다. 이는 불에 살라 바치는 제사요, 신께 올라가는 향기로운 냄새다.

And he shall cleave it with the wings thereof, but shall not divide it asunder: and the priest shall burn it upon the altar, upon the wood that is upon the fire: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord.
